Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side will play host to Tony Pulis’ Stoke City in the Premier League on February 23 2011. He was outplayed for much of the game and afterwards made it clear to anyone that was listening where his loyalties lie by saying that the Barcelona team is the best team of all time even though Arsenal had just beaten them.
Wenger had Andre Arshavin and Robin Van Persie to thank for the monumental win of the Spanish leaders so will not have risked them against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup at the weekend. They will though feature against Stoke and be eager to impress the fans again.
Tony Pulis’ men have been playing well on occasion and will have been glad to have drawn Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup which would have been played the weekend before this fixture. Pulis will most likely use a utility team and bring on some key players late in that game if needed in order to preserve his best for Arsenal on Wednesday.

Both teams have been playing well and the fact that Arsenal lost to the league leaders Man United will not have dented their confidence a great deal as they were the better side for the first half of the game.
