The Royals won against all odds ,Mumbai appeared to be the stronger team if we went by stats and star power, the bookies prediction otherwise and they did get it right ,I’m sure they profited well.Finally Mr.Mallya has something to be happy about.
Chris Gayle scored 92 of just 58 ball’s dazzling the capacity crowd by his spectacular display of skill, aggression and sheer talent.The brilliant last over by Vinay Karthik sealed the victory.
Dinesh Kartik did his best by hitting 3 consecutive sixes but was still not able to make his side taste victory.
Mumbai Indians were chasing a reasonable target of 157 in 20 over but in spite of all odds in their favour ,they lost but with a good fight keeping the audience glued to the game in the exclusive IPL style.They closed at 154 missing the race by inches.
Dinesh Kartik made the best effort scoring 60 runs of 37 balls with 3 four’s and 4 sixes.Sachin made a decent 23 and Ponting 28 of 33 balls.
All in all a narrow margin victory ,for RCB for the audience totally interesting till the end totally “paisa vasool”.
